For Castille Wood Products founder David Bates, woodworking isn’t simply a vocation, it’s a tradition that goes back generations. As David states “Working with our hands kind of comes natural in our family.”

Utilizing the carpentry and woodworking skills learned at his father’s, uncle’s, and grandfather’s side, Bates launched his fledgling millworks and cabinet making operation in 1991. Through hard work, perserverance, and a dedication to his craft, what began as two man operation in a 20′ X 30′ cow pasture lean-to grew into a thriving 10 employee, fifteen thousand squarefoot state-of-the-art workshop.

While Castille’s workmanship and quality are noteworthy, what sets the firm apart from their competitors is organization. Combining hands-on craftmanship with modern efficiency controls, the process employed by the Castille workshop is designed to ensure everything proceeds smoothly, from the initial custom design phase all the way through, milling, fabricating, and finally, installation in the client’s home or business. Whether your project is large or small, the goal is the same: to create excellent work in a timely manner, ultimately exceeding customer expectations. As David is quick to point out, “Our goal is to satisfy the customer, to give them more than expected. It might sound a little cliche, but we really mean it.  We know we’re not your average shop, and we want the customer to see that reflected in our work.”

Castille’s reputation has been built on this basic philosophy, from the service, professionalism and courtesy of their onsite crews, to the proud homeowners and business people who recommend their skills to their friends and associates.

"Alvarez Construction Co., Inc. is proud to inform you that our company was Castille Wood Products' first customer many years ago. David's commitment to service and quality is hard to find. This company is a model in the industry."
